Indole-3-Carbinol (I3C) and sulphoraphane are actives present in plants from the cruciferous family. Their medical properties have been recognised for years, particularly those related to cancer prevention, as many scientific publications attest.
Indole 3 Carbinol is present mainly in ripe cabbage, whereas sulphoraphane is present in fresh broccoli sprouts. That is the reason we have combined the two actives so that both act in the field of prevention and fight against cancer.
In prevention and fight against cancer through the nutritional approach, Indole 3 Carbinol and sulphoraphane are especially prescribed for the following cancers:
Lung cancer, since they partially neutralise the nitrosamines (carcinogenic components) found in cigarette smoke.
«Hormone-dependent» cancers like breast cancer and endometrial cancer, since they oppose to estrogens and block their progress. In stomach cancer it activates the antioxidant enzymes around the gastric mucosa, thus protecting it from damage that could be caused by H.pylori bacteria to their DNA.
It has been proved that those countries with the highest consumption of cruciferous vegetables present much fewer cases of lung, colon, breast or prostate cancer. Indole 3 Carbinol is also characterised by its action against the chemical resistance of the organism, reducing consequently the number of chemical therapy sessions.
Another remarkable feature of Indole 3 Carbinol and sulphoraphane is the neutralisation of carcinogenic substances, thus protecting DNA against the chemical damages and reducing the risk of developing cancer associated with these sources of pollution. |

INGREDIENTS: n 1 capsule :
Indole 3 Carbinol (200 mg) min 99 % pure. Dried extract from broccoli (Brassica oleracea) (200 mg) titered at 1% en sulforaphane (2 mg min.)
OTHER INGREDIENTS: stearate, gelatine capsule
