Artichoke

Well-known digestive qualities
Used since ancient times, it was only in the mid-20th century that we were able to isolate from it the compound to which the artichoke owes its reputation : cynarine. Cynarine stimulates secretion of bile and fights liver problems (alcoholic cirrhosis, toxins, hepatitis...). It was even synthesised and used as a medication until the 1980s, to stimulate the liver and gall bladder as well as to lower cholesterol levels.
