The advantages of L - carnitine fumarate are absolutely certain for anyone who is following regular sports training. It makes a significant improvement to energy production, and so to performance, by facilitating the Krebs cycle (or the citric acid cycle).
Essential to the production of energy and the metabolism of lipids, L - Carnitine is an amino-acid, which is a fundamental component of your daily diet. Its role consists of carrying the fatty acids into the mitochondrion subcellular organell, where they are burned by the b-oxidation process. As for Fumaric Acid, this is naturally used in all living organisms for the respiration of tissues. Its production is a key step in facilitating the Krebs cycle, or Citric Acid cycle, which enables continued muscular effort.
Very many recent studies have demonstrated that L - Carnitine offer better bio-availability than L - Carnitine Tartrate, which is normally offered to reinforce sporting performance. In fact it enables delivery of proportionally more active substances with a more constant and more homogenous progression over the time, thus offering a far more efficient biological action. Its L- format indicates that the carnitine structure that we are offering is identical to the amino-acid that the body creates naturally, and as a consequence has all of the same beneficial effects.
L - Carnitine Fumarate has a half life for elimination of 15 hours and its maximum blood concentration is at 3 to 4 hours after ingestion. For optimal effects it is therefore advisable to take a capsule the evening before and another 3 hours before the effort is required. |
