| Lutein and zeaxanthine more especially protect the photoreceptors from age-related visual problems. In fact, they are found naturally in the part of the retina called the macula, involved in the creation of the visual image, as well as in the crystalline lens. These antioxidant substances thus act specifically on the eye, which is particularly subject to oxidative stress, since it is one of the organs most exposed to the air and ultraviolet light. People who present with raised plasma levels of zeaxanthine, lutein or a combination of both are moreover said to be less at risk than other people of suffering age-related macular degeneration (ARMD) or cataracts. |

We know today that lutein and zeaxanthin, both of which belong to the carotenoid family, possess strong antioxidant properties. This oxidative phenomenon plays a large role in ocular pathology, since the eye is one of the organs most exposed to air and UV rays. In fact, lutein and zeaxanthin are especially present in the retina, called macula, whose function is the creation of visual images. The food supplements lutein and zeaxanthin especially protect the photoreceptors against the visual difficulties related to aging.
In equal doses, this action is 10 times greater than that of alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E), another antioxidant used in the prevention of visual impairments linked to aging (1). |

INGREDIENTS: For 1 tablet : 20 mg of purified dry extract titrated to 10% USP min of lutein (2 mg), 20 mg of purified dry extract of zéaxanthine titrated with 5% min (1 mg) resulting from Marigold (Tagetes erecta)
OTHER INGREDIENTS: sorbitol, fructooligosaccharide, magnesium stearate, celulose and flavour berries.
FOOD ALLERGENS: Does not contain allergens or GMOs (in accordance with EU Directive 200389/EC).
FABRICATION AND GUARANTEE: This food supplement is manufactured in accordance with GMPs according to current pharmaceutical standards. DIRECTIONS:
